The Pointe Coupee Parish School Board believes that student growth, district progress, and community satisfaction are all affected by the job performance of the Superintendent.  The Superintendent needs periodic feedback about his/her job performance from the Board, and the Board recognizes its responsibility to evaluate the Superintendent in a timely and professional manner.

The Superintendent shall be evaluated at least annually by the Board.  The evaluation shall document the Superintendent’s strengths and weaknesses relative to the performance objectives/specific targets outlined in the Superintendent’s contract and shall be discussed with the Superintendent in open or closed session at his/her choice.  The Board shall select the form of the evaluation instrument after seeking input on that instrument from the Superintendent.
