It shall be the responsibility of each school principal to establish emergency plans and procedures to be implemented in the following situations:


  1. Student accidents

  2. Implementation of emergency procedures in the absence of the principal

  3. Cancellation of school

  4. Special calls to police, fire departments, and hos­pitals

  5. Evacuation of buildings in the event of fire, severe weather, and bomb threats

  6. Providing for instructional personnel in the absence of regular personnel


These plans and procedures shall be coordinated with those of the Pointe Coupee Parish School System.
