Wildcats’ Basketball Homecoming Welcomes Former Athletes

Wildcats’ Basketball Homecoming Welcomes Former Athletes

The Boys Basketball team concluded their regular season Friday, February 19th with an action-packed, standing room only gymnasium full of Wildcat fans, as well as alumni from schools throughout our parish.   Livonia extended a special invitation to residents to not only show their support for the present Wildcats, but to also be recognized for their roles in supporting athletes across our district.   The Athletic Department was eager to recognize over fifty former athletes who attended the game.  “Regardless of if you wore a Morganza High School Tiger uniform, a Rosenwald High School Trojan uniform, a Rougon Red Devil uniform,  a Pointe Coupee Central Cougar uniform, an Upper Pointe Coupee Bulldog uniform, or a Livonia High School Wildcat uniform, you played a vital role in helping to install school pride in our parish,” reported Athletic Director Marc Brown.   Those in attendance were commended for their continued support in this school system and CHALLENGED to continue to support all of Pointe Coupee’s young men and women in both their educational and athletic journeys.
