Rougon Middle School Students Use BETA to Light Their Fire

Members of Rougon’s Jr. BETA Club traveled to Lafayette, Louisiana to take part in the annual Jr. Beta Convention.  The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America, and for more than 80 years, it has prepared today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders! Their mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.  The Rougon BETA Club holds the honor as being recognized as a club of distinction. To be selected for membership in Rougon BETA students must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average for the previous school year. This year’s BETA sponsor is Mrs. Melissa Armond.
