STEM Students Embark on AP US History Trip

STEM Students Embark on AP US History Trip

SMA students in grades 9 -11 embarked on a journey to follow in the footsteps of our nation's founding fathers and recognize some of our greatest achievements in America. They took an eight-day trip to the East Coast where they visited Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. The students experienced a walk on Boston's Freedom Trail, a Broadway show in New York City, Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Lexington and Concord, and a guided tour through the United States Capitol Building. For many, it was a trip of firsts: first flight, first time out of the state, and first time on guided tours. For all, it was a learning experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.
