Livonia Junior Elected to Represent Louisiana JAG in Washington

Livonia Junior Elected to Represent Louisiana JAG in Washington

On October 24, Jobs for America’s Graduates Louisiana (JAG-LA) held their 24th Annual Student Leadership Conference in Alexandria. The conference offered JAG students an educational day of seminars and workshops that kept them busy.  Speech campaign competitions for state offices also took place and showcased candidates in front of a crowd of their peers. The candidates discussed their visions and plans for JAG during the upcoming school year. Cyrah Parker, a junior from Livonia High School, was elected State President of JAG-LA.  She will represent JAG-Louisiana in our nation’s capital in December 2019 by participating in various competitions and attending student leadership seminars.

Livonia High is committed to providing a safe learning environment where students achieve academic success and become productive contributors of a diverse community.
