STEM Magnet Academy teacher, Hillary David Smith, was chosen as a 2024 Exemplary Educator for the State of Louisiana. The Louisiana Exemplary Educator Recognition Program acknowledges, honors, and spotlights exceptional teachers, teacher specialists, and school leaders who exemplify Louisiana's education profession. Hillary will receive an honoree ticket to the 2024 Teacher Leader Summit where she will be featured in a slides presentation before the opening session. She will also be recognized by BESE on Wednesday, October 9th. Congratulations, Mrs. Hillary! We are so proudof you! This is a well deserved honor that highlights your hard work and dedication to the students of Pointe Coupee!
