It is time to register students for Early Childhood classes in Pointe Coupee! Students entering Headstart, PreKindergarten, and Kindergarten in 2025-2026 must have a completed registration packet to enroll.
If you have questions or want more information, the 2025 Family Resource Fair will be held on February 13th at the Cottonport Community Center. You can register at the fair and receive informaiton regarding community resources!

Fall Break for students in Pointe Coupee Parish Public Schools will begin Monday, October 14th! Students will return to school on Thursday, October 17th. All schools in the district will be open on Tuesday from 11:00-6:30 for scheduled Parent-Teacher Conferences. We hope everyone has a great fall break!

Did you know that as many as one in three students in the country misses 10%, or about 18 days, of the school year? This September, join with us to celebrate the Attendance Awareness Campaign. We’re working together to make sure all kids show up and participate every day possible. Being in school supports students’ social, emotional and physical well-being, and provides students with opportunities to learn and reach for their dreams. Let’s show up together and get back into the habit of daily attendance!

All Pointe Coupee Parish Public Schools and the District Office will be closed on Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th.
In addition, all after school activities will be canceled today- Tuesday, September 10th.
We will evaluate the storm damage on Thursday and keep you updated, should plans change based on school areas in our parish.
Students will continue instruction following our continuous learning plans; however, there will be no negative consequences should students not be able to complete the work assigned due to loss of power or storm damage.
To stay informed, please monitor our Website, PCPSB APP notifications, and/or the Alert Text/Call Messaging for updates. You should also follow Pointe Coupee School District on social media and keep up with local news broadcasts for the latest information.
