Valverda Elementary School

Mrs. Rusti Nelson, kindergarten teacher at Valverda Elementary, has the spotlight in the Louisiana Department of Education's Teacher Leaders Newsletter. In the article, Mrs. Nelson highlights the growth she has seen in her students by using tools to monitor their achievement. Using data, she was able to pinpoint intervention and address specific areas to support her students.
